About BDC Project

The Agency for Cultural Affairs has implemented a support scheme focusing on the priority areas of art and history museums since 2014. Independent Administrative Institution National Museum of Art applied for it and “National Research Project for the Sustainability of Born-Digital Cinema” (=BDC Project)  was approved, for which National Film Center of the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo acted as the operating body.

The project was continued in 2015 mainly for researching the following four areas:

  1. 禁止ワード
  2. 禁止ワード
  3. Research into technology and legal system of digital cinema preservation in foreign countries
  4. 禁止ワード
